REACH and CLP

REACH

Cunico Resources has registered its product (ferronickel) in accordance to the REACH regulation.

REACH (Registration Evaluation Authorisation of Chemicals) is an EU regulation (EC 1907/2006), in force since June 2007, according to which all manufacturers and importers of chemical substances have to register these substances in a central database run by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

According to the regulation, alloys such as our product (ferronickel), are registered as "special preparation" products, i.e. only their components are registered.

In our case Nickel and Iron are registered separately.

CLP

CLP is a European Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures. Our product is compliant with this regulation.

eSDS

(extended) Safety Data Sheets provide harmonised information to downstream users of our ferronickel.

GES- Generic Exposure Scenario

Provides information to the downstream user for the use of our product in their process, i.e. stainless, special steels and special alloys manufacturing (S4A).
